Alimentaly is committed to protecting the privacy of the users browsing Alimentaly official website www.alimentaly.it. This notice concerns exclusively Alimentaly website and no other web site accessed by the user via link or otherwise. Alimentaly srl will in no way be responsible for the contents in those web sites.

For further information please read this document and the notice pursuant to the Italian personal data protection code (Legislative Decree no. 196/2003). Alimentaly privacy policy is compliant with all national laws and regulations.

No personal data obtained from Alimentaly web service will be disclosed. User’s personal data will be processed in order to provide the requested service only. They may be communicated to third parties only if strictly necessary.

Browsing data collection

During normal operation, computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire some personal data, whose transmission is implicit when using Internet communication protocols.

Due to their nature, such data might allow identification of the users/visitors through matching and processing with data held by third parties (e.g. IP address, user/visitor’s computer domain name, URI address, etc.).

These data are used for the sole purpose of obtaining statistical information (therefore they are anonymous) and to verify the correct functioning of Alimentaly website. Data on web connections and user’s information are not retained and are normally erased after a certain period of time. No data from the web services will be communicated or disclosed.

Please be aware that such data could be used to verify responsibility in the event of computer crimes against Alimentaly website or against other websites linked or connected to it: apart from this event, user’s data are not normally kept for more than a few days.

Data provided spontaneously by users/visitors

Providing personal data is optional, explicit and spontaneous in order to access a service provided by Alimentaly, or to forward e-mail requests. User’s address as well as any other personal data included in the message will be processed in order to reply to requests or to provide the requested service. Alimentaly website uses cookies to recognize and keep track of the users browsing the site in order to provide faster access and to modify its contents according to users’ preferences. Cookies do not allow the website to access in any way to user’s information stored in user’s computer.

Alimentaly website does not use cookies to communicate personal data, nor any other permanent cookie such as user tracking systems.

The use of session cookies (which are not stored persistently in user’s computer and are automatically removed once the browser session is terminated) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identification data (made of numbers randomly generated by the server), which are necessary to allow secure and efficient exploration of the website. Session cookies used on this site avoid the use of other information technologies, which could potentially prejudice the user’s privacy when browsing. Moreover, such technologies do not allow the acquisition of data which could identify the user.

Optional communication

Apart from what specified about browsing data collection, the user is free to decide whether to provide personal information by filling out the proper on-line request forms on the website section dedicated to on-demand services. However, if the user decides not to submit personal information, Alimentaly may not be able to provide the requested services.

Information security and data processing

Personal information are processed using both security technologies and procedures and only for the time necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected. Alimentaly takes appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of data.

In particular, on the website section dedicated to specific on-line services where user’s personal data are requested, data are encrypted using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. SSL technology encrypts all data before they are exchanged via web between user’s computer and Alimentaly server, making them unintelligible to unauthorized people and guaranteeing the security of the transmitted data. The use of SSL requires an SSL-compatible browser able to perform a "key-exchange” using at least a 128-bit security key. Such key is necessary to establish secure connections between the user and Alimentaly server.

Data subject rights

According to article 7 of the Legislative Decree 196/2003, data subjects shall have the right to:

Data subjects can obtain confirmation as to whether his/her personal data exist, even if they are not registered yet, and their communication in an intelligible form.

d. the details of the data controller, the mangers and designated representative pursuant to article 5, clause 2;

The data subject has the right to obtain:
a. the updating, rectification or, if interested, integration of his/her data;
b. the deletion, anonymization or blocking of his/her personal data if processed unlawfully; including those which are not needed to be kept in relation to the purpose for which they have been collected or later processed;
c. the attestation that the operation at the above letters a) and b) have been communicated, even about their content, to whom received that data, except when that fulfilment is impossible or clearly needs unproportioned use of means compared to the right protected.
The data subject has the right to object, in whole or in part, on legitimate grounds:
a. to the processing of his/her personal information, even though they are relevant to the purpose of the collection;

Alimentaly does not intentionally collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18.

This information notice may be periodically modified. The information collected is subject to the privacy notice in force at the moment of the collection. Alimentaly will make available all the different versions of this privacy notice.

Law and Jurisdiction

Interpretation and execution of these terms and conditions are regulated by Italian law. The Court of Milan, Italy will have exclusive jurisdiction for any controversies emerging from or connected with the terms and conditions outlined herein. Nevertheless, Alimentaly reserves the right to take legal steps before Courts of cities or countries other than Italy or Milan in order to protect its interests and enforce its rights.
